21. Discrimination.

27/11/2021, 21:02 - 21:08.

Discrimination is something that I have to deal with every day.

It’s in the way that everything is labeled within the man-woman binary. It’s the fact that most people wouldn’t even understand me if I talked about my gender experience. It’s in people’s words when they purposely make fun of my identity: "I sexually identify as an attack helicopter." It’s in the fact that relevant political parties and their followers are actively trying to take away my rights.

I wish I could make it go away. I wish I could just say “Yes, I am a woman,” but that would be a lie. I have to make a choice every day between being discriminated against or suppressing who I am.
