24. Smoking in public places.

    In my opinion, it should absolutely be forbidden to smoke anywhere near other people in public. There must be a way to make it illegal. I hope there is.

    I despise the smell of cigarettes. I get nauseous just by standing next to someone who has been smoking recently because of how much the smell affects me. Both of my parents had quit smoking by the time I was a toddler, so I’m used to living in a tobacco-free environment.

    Forbidding people from smoking indoors was a huge improvement, but you need for the day to be incredibly windy not to be bothered by the smoke coming from someone smoking next to you even if you’re outside. I wouldn’t mind if people kept smoking in public in designated spaces, or when no one around can be affected, just like when they made it possible not to wear a mask outdoors only if you kept a safe distance. Gosh, I hate the smell of tobacco so much.
